Amber: Leaves In The Wind
The Amber City docks are one of the most busy places in the city, overseen by the harbourmaster and his staff who ensure that ships come and go in a timely manner without disrupting all other coming and going vessels.
The docks represent some of the best and worst of the city, and of the sailing profession. Certainly a visitor can be greeted by many a cheerful (if a little bawdy) sailor and helped along their way. Unfortunately there’s many a sea dog and rapscallion who will fleece an unwary visitor of their coinpurse, and maybe even their life. A tourist is always counselled to be wary of entering a bar along the docks unless trouble is what they’re looking for.
Near the docks is the infamous Death Alley, where the equally infamous Bloody’s Bill’s is located. A bar and an eatery with surprisingly good food (if you like fish dishes) Bloody Bill’s is also a great place to get knifed by the bad seeds who frequent the place. Legend has it that the place is renamed, and changes hands to, who ever it is that kills the current owner. Currently Bill is holding on but nobody ever seems to keep the place for long.
